Margret’s Voice is so much more than just helping to meet physical needs. We are a sponsorship program that aims at discipleship. Our goal is to teach these women the truth of God’s word so that they live it out in their lives and then teach it to their children. We stress to them that the next generation can be a generation that walks with the LORD, a generation that loves God with all of their heart, soul, strength, and mind, a generation that seeks to love their neighbor as themselves.

Part of being sponsored is the attendance of a weekly Bible study. The women gather every Thursday to praise and worship the LORD, to study God’s word, and to pray. Olivia is the woman who leads these women in the study of God’s word. She listens to their problems and encourages them with the word of God. Olivia is a single woman who has never married nor has had children of her own. She refers to herself as the “mother of many”. The way she loves, encourages, and hears these women is absolutely precious. She loves and sees these sweet women as a mother does her own children.

Each week Pastor Lawrence sends pictures of the women who are in attendance at Bible study. It is a wonderful delight to see their smiling faces.

For their time of gathering this week, Pastor Lawrence reports, “It was a sweet class filled up with unimaginable atmosphere of prayer at the beginning of it.”
